INFORMATION COCOONS
It began from a conversation with my mother. I thought my mother couldn't catch up with the current way of obtaining information online, as sometimes she could hardly understand me, creating a big gap between us. My mother asked back, "you only see the things you like. Can you understand my world?"
Then I thought, when we surfed the Internet through big data, could we really obtain more information? The web world feeds us with the content of our interests to cater to everyone's taste. We seem to really be trapped in our own circles without many opportunities to explore new things.
